We both know the theater is not for drowning anything. But I shall celebrate the acclaim of my handsome features with fine wine. You, of course, shall have to soothe your wounded spirit in the same.

A fine face is nothing without roguish charms. I fear if you open your mouth, I will win handily. Shall we make it a wager?

Theater is too exalted a form to be diluted by something so plebian as the personal lives of the performers.

When you lose I'm taking you to a burlesque where I can happily tell you how directly each character is based on the performer's life.

I am happy to attend the burlesque either way. But that is not Theater.

Are you willing to say that to eight drunk performers, half of which are larger than you? Because I would very much like to see you try to win that argument.

Students are not refined enough for the proper stage. So of course they are at festivals.

First, a gentleman doesn't back down from a wager. Second, I have nothing to fear given I won't be the loser.
